Impacting Risk, Cost and Quality with Materials Information Management

Delegates from several leading commercial aerospace organizations located in the southern and western USA joined engineers from Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories at the latest MDMC workshop in Los Alamos. They heard a series of presentations from members of the Consortium, who were at Los Alamos to attend the latest meeting of the MDMC (see separate news item ). These presentations covered the use of the Consortium software, GRANTA MI, in practical engineering situations, describing the benefits of materials information management to organizations such as NASA and LANL.
